Kawaii dake ja Nai Shikimori-san is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Keigo Maki published in Magazine Pocket.

The origin of the work It comes from a series of short stories that Maki released on his Twitter, the first 10 chapters of which were first posted there.

After attracting a lot of interest in reading from Twitter netizens, Keigo Maki’s Twitter account was then bombarded with fan comments which then motivated him to develop the series to a greater level.

An English translated version of the Manga has also been published by Kodansha Comics USA since October 27, 2020.

This anime tells about Izumi is a high school student whose life is full of misfortune. Ever since he was young, he would always come home injured.

Due to his unlucky nature, his days are full of unfortunate events that is, until he starts dating Shikimori.

One can describe Shikimori as the perfect boyfriend, cute, adorable, and very much in love with Izumi. However, she is sometimes not so charming.

Instead, he makes for the coolest boyfriend in the scariest way. Her demanding presence and earnest concern for Izumi’s well-being never ceased to leave her breathless.

With the cute yet cool Shikimori now by Izumi’s side, her unlucky days are over. He brings a life full of happiness and warmth.
